Kitty Pryde could be introduced as a new MCU mutant in Guardians of the Galaxy 3’s Star-Lord storyline. Despite the fact that Peter Quill and Gamora’s romance has been at the center of each of their unique adventures, it doesn’t seem like the movie will reunite them romantically. Gamora even makes the suggestion that Nebula might be a better love interest for Star-Lord than she would. They seem to be acting considerably cruder towards one another. Star-Lord might conclude the film yearning for love if the plot of Guardians of the Galaxy 3 does not involve them getting back together. This might result in his running into Kitty Pryde.
It’s possible that Star-Lord and Kitty Pryde will be the Guardians of the Galaxy 4’s captains if they start dating in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After the trilogy is finished, James Gunn might leave the MCU, but it’s also possible that the franchise will carry on with a new cast. Peter Quill will probably continue to be involved as the franchise’s face, but if he is not, Kitty Pryde might join the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy crew and even take on the role of Star-Lord. After Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, it would continue the incorporation of mutants into the MCU and give the MCU a cosmic X-Men presence.
