Marvel fans have a reason to celebrate as the God of Mischief, Loki, has been officially made an Avenger in the latest Avengers Forever comic book crossover event. The comic has been following Ghost Rider and Deathlok as they try to find an answer against the Multiversal Masters of Evil who have destroyed multiple Earths.
In the latest installment of the comic book series, Avengers Forever #15, Loki is revealed as the mysterious Avenger Prime who has been assembling a team of heroes from across the Multiverse. The interesting part is that Loki seems to see himself as a true component of the Avengers and even uses the iconic Marvel battle cry, “Avengers Assemble!”
The comic portrays Loki as repentant and redeemable, which is a stark contrast from his previous role as a villain trying to exterminate the Avengers. Interestingly, the recently concluded Loki TV series also showed the Asgardian prince’s development as a person and his heroic qualities.
