Madame Web star expresses uncertainties about the Marvel film

Dakota Johnson has no idea how the movie will come out in the end because of her blue screen experience while filming Madame Web. In a recent interview, Dakota Johnson who plays Cassandra Webb in the movie discussed filming the Sony and Marvel production. It was Johnson’s first time utilising blue screens to make a movie, thus it was a whole new experience. She went on to express her worries that she genuinely had no idea whether she performed well, adding that it seemed “absolutely psychotic” for her to work in this manner. Having said that, Johnson added that she had complete confidence in SJ Clarkson, the film’s director. “I haven’t actually worked on a film where you have a blue screen, people are shouting “explosion!” and you have to act like there’s an explosion. I thought that was just insane. I was thinking, “I’m not sure if this will work out at all!” I hope I performed quite well. However, I believed SJ Clarkson. She puts a lot of effort into her job, and she hasn’t looked away from the film since we began.

Having previously directed episodes of Jessica Jones and The Defenders, SJ Clarkson brought some Marvel expertise to Madame Web. In an interview, she described how she was drawn to Madame Web’s feminine-led aesthetic, which echoed Jessica Jones’s appeal to her. “I loved the psychological, cerebral nature,” the filmmaker said in clarification. To put it mildly, it’s about Cassandra Webb’s internal struggles and what’s going through her mind. Is she losing her mind? Is this thing real? She is grappling with that on an internal level and attempting to comprehend it. Clarkson also stated that the movie is set in the early 1990s and features a stand-alone plot. Even though it’s set in the Sony Spider-Man Universe, it’s unlikely that any of the Venom and Morbius cast members will appear, especially given the post-credit sequence. It is known that Celeste O’Connor, Isabela Merced, Sydney Sweeney, and Dakota Johnson will co-star as Cassandra Webb in the film. Together with Emma Roberts, Mike Epps, and Adam Scott, Tahar Rahim plays the evil Ezekiel Sims in the movie.
