Marvel has its best chance to bring back one of the most significant characters from the Netflix series with Kingpin’s new task force in Daredevil: Born Again.

In Daredevil: Born Again, Kingpin established a new anti-vigilante task force, and this plotline provides Marvel with the ideal excuse to revive a crucial Netflix character. Even though the MCU’s Daredevil series has a lot of original content, it mostly follows the Netflix series’ plot. Wilson Fisk and Matt Murdock find themselves on divergent roads, but they are unable to overcome their more violent inclinations. After attempting to follow the rules, Matt returned to enforcing justice in his role as Daredevil, while Fisk is unable to hide his evil nature as Kingpin. The dirtiest police officers in New York City have joined Kingpin’s anti-vigilante task squad after Daredevil’s return. As Daredevil, Matt’s mission to clean up the city is made more difficult by the opposition of the police and criminals. Even though he already lives in the shadows, he must now take all necessary precautions to keep his two lives private and distinct. Matt will want assistance from a reliable buddy, providing Marvel with the ideal justification to revive a crucial Netflix character.

In season one of Daredevil, Rosario Dawson made her debut as Claire Temple. Dawson’s character, a cross between Claire and Marvel Comics’ Night Nurse, is presented as a nurse who finds Matt severely battered in a garbage and helps him. After Matt saves her from the mafia, the two decide not to pursue their friendship any further. Despite this, Claire provides him with medical support when he needs it because he is unable to explain to the hospital professionals how any of his injuries occurred. Claire connected the four major characters of the Defenders world by becoming the Nick Fury after the first season of Daredevil. With the exception of The Punisher, she makes an appearance in every series and develops a bond with every character. She and Luke Cage were romantically involved, however they broke up in Luke Cage season 2. In the Defenders reality, Claire doesn’t get much closure, although it’s likely that she’s still in New York. Since Matt is unable to visit the hospital and must avoid Kingpin’s task team, he may look for her. Additionally, he is unable to visit his flat since Heather could be there. One of the few individuals who can assist Matt in being Daredevil is Claire.

The Birth of Daredevil Once more, aside from its two primary stars, the Netflix series was not initially intended to continue. These ideas were abandoned, though, and the new strategy called for extending the Netflix series for a few more years after it concluded. Elden Henson’s Foggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page, Ayelet Zurer’s Vanessa, Wilson Bethel’s Bullseye, and Jon Bernthal’s Punisher were among the many performers that reprised their parts. Since the Netflix series is part of the MCU canon, Claire can pave the way for the return of other Netflix characters, which Marvel is able to do. Claire had relationships with a number of Netflix characters, such as Danny Rand, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Colleen Wing. She was in the first series, so it makes sense that she would be in Daredevil: Born Again, but she also has ties to the greater New York City vigilante community. Without necessarily restarting every Netflix series, Claire could have the secret to reviving the other Defenders.
