Bryan Andrews, the director of What If…?, recently talked about what viewers may expect from the third season of the MCU series. Andrews shared a few insights on the third season of What If…? in an interview with Marvel. It’s not my place to tease. Everything should be a surprise to me. I believe that when people are shocked, they usually enjoy themselves,” he remarked. However, the filmmaker gave viewers a preview of what to expect from the upcoming film. That being said, Season 3 is jam-packed with surprises! Nobody can possibly predict what’s going to happen. We do get to play around with genre a little,” Andrews said.” Some of the ones that are approaching thrill me much. A handful of these are truly amazing. We get to push, so I believe everyone is going to get really geeky. And a lot of toys will be sold by one of them. That’s something I can say. “I’m sure one of them is going to sell a lot of toys,” he continued.
The director of What If…? also alluded to a Season 1 character’s storyline continuing in the third season. “I’m at a loss for words beyond that! Every episode is excellent. I won’t reveal which one it is, but there’s one that has characters from a Season 1 episode again,” Andrews remarked. However, there is one where there is a small amount of continuity. We really do enjoy that one, and it’s turning out to be very amusing,” he said in closing.
Marvel Zombies, an additional future animated MCU project, was somewhat teased by Andrews. It’s going to be very fantastic, though. It’s hardcore, TV-MA, really. Humans pass away. And they pass away violently. Thus, there are still occasional giggles to be had. It’s not all that bad,” he said. “However, occasionally we take things away, so we could try to cheer you up with jokes, laughter, and enjoyable moments. Thus, it’s rather harsh. There’s a lot of activity. There’s a lot of feeling. Drama exists. It’s everything there,” the filmmaker disclosed. “I can’t wait for when people finally start to see or tease that stuff,” Andrews went on. However, I just hope that nothing gets revealed since I believe there are a lot of genuine shocks throughout. And I believe it would be much better for people to enter when it’s cooler. When they see some of the wild things we have in store for them, they’ll be blown away.”
