Method Man expressed interest in portraying the X-Men character Bishop in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, despite the fact that it will be some time before the Children of the Atom show up. Method In an interview, the man discussed this wish in detail, saying, “I was just throwing it out there to see if I could catch something. The MCU staff members are experts in their field. So far, I haven’t had any issues with any of their casting decisions. So, whomever is hired… Although it was before the MCU, I thought Omar Sy did a great job as Bishop in X-Men: Days of Future Past. I believe he would kill it if they selected him again. There are a few persons present. But if they’re open to giving me a chance, I’d take it. I’ve already completed all the research, too. It’s interesting to note that Method Man and Lucas Bishop have a history together because in 2020, he cosplayed as the mutant from the future. Naturally, Method Man has experience performing in the Marvel Universe. In a Disney Channel episode of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, the rapper also provided the voice for the minor Namor the Sub-Mariner villain Torg and Ben Urich from the Marvels podcast. In a Luke Cage episode, he also made an appearance playing himself.

In 2020, Method Man mentioned having a talk with Idris Elba, a veteran of both the MCU and the DC Extended Universe, about wanting to portray a new hero in one of both franchises. They discussed the rumour that Idris Elba might portray James Bond, but Elba was more interested in developing a fresh character, which Method Man connected with. Give them the same amount of attention as you would the old characters, or even group them with the old characters to get them off to a good start. I’d be thrilled to take on a role for a brand-new Marvel or DC character. There is no current information on when the X-Men will appear in the MCU. But in 2022, Marvel Studios President and Chief Content Officer Kevin Feige gave a clue that it would be near, saying that the studio is “getting close” because Deadpool and Wolverine are both in Deadpool 3.
