The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is a constantly evolving and expanding world, with new characters and storylines being introduced in each new phase. As Phase 4 comes to an end, fans are eagerly anticipating what Phase 6 has in store for them. Here are some game-changing Marvel characters who could potentially appear in MCU Phase 6.
Doctor Doom :Doctor Doom is one of the most celebrated villains in Marvel Comics. A megalomaniacal inventor and master engineer with a deep hatred for Reed Richards, it came as no surprise when the villain made his first appearance in Fantastic Four #47. Doctor Doom’s very first appearance was in 1969, when editor Stan Lee created him for Fantastic Four as an enemy for the team.
Iron Lad: Nathaniel Richards’ youngest variant, plays an important role in Kang the Conqueror’s story, opposing his villainous self and attempting to avoid following in Kang’s footsteps. Ant-Man and the Wasp (Ant-Man and the Wasp) Immortus, Rama-Tut, and the Council of Kangs are among Quantumania’s Kang variants, but the MCU’s Iron Lad has yet to be officially introduced. Iron Lad could arrive in Phase 6 to rally all active Avengers to fight the Council of Kangs, or he could be recruited to fight his variants. Because Iron Lad is also a Young Avengers member, he could be the team’s final member when the MCU’s Young Avengers finally come together.
Captain Britain: The Captain Britain Corps. is a group of Captain Britain variants in charge of protecting every existing universe in Marvel Comics — a job that appears to be a perfect fit for the MCU’s current storylines. While Captain Carter was introduced as a multiverse guardian in Marvel’s What If…? the MCU has yet to incorporate her into the Captain Britain Corps’ lore.
Superior Iron Man: Marvel Studios can create many different versions of its characters because of the multiverse’s unlimited possibilities. Just like how they made two versions of the evil Doctor Strange, they could introduce a bad Iron Man too. In the movie “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” there is a universe called Earth-838 where Tony Stark might still be alive and evil. This evil version of Iron Man, known as Superior Iron Man, could give Robert Downey Jr. a new way to play the hero as a villain. This could also lead to the introduction of Hydra Supreme, an evil Steve Rogers who works for HYDRA.
Venom: Venom is a popular Marvel character known for his distinct black and white suit and sharp-toothed grin. Originally an antagonist to Spider-Man, the character has since become an antihero and even a protagonist in his own series. Venom is a symbiote, a sentient alien life form that bonds with a human host to create a powerful and sometimes uncontrollable hybrid being.Man’s battle with the symbiote would not only have an impact on his career as an Avenger, but it would also introduce a complex personal conflict in a potential new MCU Spider-Man trilogy.
