Many have hailed Thunderbolts as the pinnacle of Marvel’s Phase 5 Multiverse Saga. Many antagonists and anti-heroes from past Marvel films and Disney+ programs are rumored to make a comeback. under addition, the movie, which is now under development, will star Julia Louis-Dreyfus. She made her Marvel debut in the post-credit sequence of Black Widow in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. She then portrayed Valentina Allegra de Fontaine in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, one of Marvel’s most prominent roles. The star of Veep and Seinfeld now has a much-needed update for us.
Louis-Dreyfus recently revealed that the Thunderbolts project is no longer being worked on. Her participation in the movie was initially revealed by her last year. When Variety inquired as to whether or not Louis-Dreyfus had finished Thunderbolts’ production, she answered, “Yes.”
She continued, jokingly stating that in the Marvel Universe, agreeing to an NDA is like to “signing your life away.”
When asked if she performed any stunts for the film, she joked, saying, “So, if I say anything to you right now, I will be executed by the universe.” Louis-Dreyfus asserted, “I actually can, I’m going to be in Thunderbolts,” on The Jimmy Kimmel Show last year.
The notion that her character is a straightforward “bad guy” was refuted by her when she stated, “Yeah, good guys are doing bad or bad guys are doing good.” She is somewhat of both, as Louis-Dreyfus noted, and she straddles the line between right and wrong. It was not completely clear to Louis-Dreyfus.
Marvel’s Thunderbolts are currently scheduled to launch on May 5, 2025. The movie was supposed to come out on July 26, 2024. However, the writers’ and painters’ strike caused a delay in the publishing. Primary shooting for the movie was scheduled to start in June.
Kevin Feige revealed the news during CinemaCon 2024, stating that the film would now have an asterisk beside its title. He emphasized, though, that moviegoers will have to wait to fully comprehend its significance.
