Disney+ will shortly begin streaming Marvel Studios: Assembled: The Making of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. According to sources, the most recent episode of Marvel Studios: Assembled will debut on Disney+ on September 13. The next making-of film “recounts how Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was conceived, shaped, and delivered to the world,” according to the official synopsis. And support the actors and crew as they say goodbye to one another and complete this chapter in the story of Peter Quill and his endearing group of misfit-warriors in the emotional last minutes of the filming. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the 32nd movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the follow-up to The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, was written and directed by James Gunn. In the well-received third installment, the beloved cosmic crew is “looking a bit different these days,” according to the official description. “To defend the universe and keep Rocket safe, Peter Quill (Pratt), who is still in shock from a horrible defeat, must gather his squad and go out on a perilous, action-packed mission. In the meantime, a brand-new, erratic force poses a danger to permanently destroy the Guardians.

Despite the fact that Vol. 3 ended with the debut of a new iteration of the cosmic band commanded by Rocket Racoon, Marvel Studios has not yet announced a fourth Guardians film. However, Marvel did announce that “the legendary Star-Lord” will return in upcoming MCU projects, most likely with Chris Pratt returning the character. It seems probable that the fourth Guardians of the Galaxy film, if it is approved in the near future, will be the first in the series that isn’t written and directed by Gunn, who is presently employed at DC Studios under an exclusive deal. Gunn’s first motion picture to be released while under contract with DC will be Superman: Legacy. Marvel will premiere the Marvel Studios: Assembled special on Secret Invasion, which will take fans behind the scenes of the recent Disney+ limited series, one week after the making-of documentary for Vol. 3 debuts on Disney+. The highly anticipated season saw the long-awaited return of Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury in a significant MCU role. Secret Invasion, however, ended up upsetting a sizable portion of the MCU fandom, with many expressing their discontent with how the series handled the well-liked narrative.
