The Russo brothers will return to film both Fantastic Four: First Steps and Avengers: Secret Wars. The event offered many more eye-catching moments, starting with a loud Deadpool choir inspired by the recent blockbuster Deadpool and Wolverine, which Marvel president Kevin Feige claimed smashed a box office record for the biggest earning R-rated film ever. The ensemble of the upcoming film Captain America: Brave New World later took the stage, with star Anthony Mackie explaining how his interpretation of the eponymous superhero differs from actor Chris Evans’ portrayal.

“He’s not so much a muscle bound guy, he’s more of a cerebral, thoughtful character,” Mackie revealed. Harrison Ford, who replaced the late William Hurt as Thunderbolt Ross, attended the occasion. David Harbour also strolled into Hall H among the sitting audience members dressed as his Black Widow character, Alexei Shostakov, AKA the Red Guardian, who will appear in the forthcoming film Thunderbolts, which follows a group of Marvel anti-heroes.
