Samuel L. Jackson, who played the lead in Secret Invasion, claims that there are actually three Captain Marvels in the next MCU film The Marvels, of which Brie Larson is just one. In a recent interview, Jackson talked about the wide range of performers that would play Captain Marvel in the upcoming blockbuster MCU movie. “I’m going to The Marvels, where Captain Marvel is played by like three different individuals, after Secret Invasion. You have Brie (Larson), a black Captain Marvel, and a Muslim Captain Marvel, the actor claimed.
Jackson also mentioned how inclusion is the foundation of the cosmos. Even similar to Shang Chi, all the events that take place there. And who the heck is going to be Bad Bunny? the Marvel Universe, where Bad Bunny is. One who? What will he become? he continued. Jackson, who appeared in the first Captain Marvel film alongside Larson’s Carol Danvers, is immensely enthusiastic about the sequel’s more diverse ensemble.
Jackson had hinted in a prior interview that the next movie The Marvels will be built up by the Secret Invasion series. “The Marvels must take place before this series can. In an intriguing manner, all of these things are related, he said. The Skrulls were promised a new home by Carol Danvers at the conclusion of the first Captain Marvel film. After the unmet promise, a radicalised number of Skrulls seek to infiltrate Earth’s governments with disastrous results. This is where Secret Invasion picks up. The Marvels will include Larson and Jackson in their respective roles as Carol Danvers and Nick Fury again. After appearing in Disney+’s WandaVision series and making her MCU debut, Teyonah Parish will join them as Monica Rambeau/Photon. Dar-Benn, a Kree trooper, is another new character played by Zawe Ashton. Ms. Marvel, played by Iman Vellani, will also make her theatrical debut.
