Script rewrite for Marvel’s ‘Blade’ movie raises questions

Spread MCU News

According to recent reports, the script for the upcoming Marvel movie ‘Blade’ is being rewritten from scratch once again. This news comes via Daniel RPK on Patreon, who has been a reliable source for insider information in the past. It’s unclear why the script is being rewritten again, but it’s not uncommon for scripts to go through multiple drafts before they are finalized.

This isn’t the first time the ‘Blade’ script has been rewritten. In fact, just a few days ago, it was reported that Moon Knight writer Beau DeMayo had been tapped to rewrite the entire script, taking over for Stacy Osei-Kuffour. It’s possible that this latest rewrite is a continuation of that process, or it could be a separate rewrite altogether.

Despite the script rewrites, fans are still eagerly anticipating the release of ‘Blade’, which will feature Mahershala Ali in the titular role. The character was previously portrayed by Wesley Snipes in a trilogy of movies in the late 90s and early 2000s, but this new version of the character is expected to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While the script rewrites may cause some concern among fans, it’s important to remember that they are a normal part of the filmmaking process and can often result in a better end product.
