Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is a significant MCU title despite receiving poor reviews since it hinted about seven forthcoming films and television programmes. With Avengers: Endgame, Ant-Man 3 has been dubbed the MCU’s most significant film by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige because it “connects most to the greater picture.” The MCU threequel does a great job of laying the groundwork for the expanding shared universe’s future.
1. Ant-Man 4
Team Ant-Man triumphed against Kang the Conqueror in the Quantum Realm, bringing Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania to a joyful conclusion. Many have thus conjectured that Ant-Man 4 may be in the horizon, although it’s more difficult said than done. Paul Rudd frankly stated that he had “no comment” about the making of Ant-Man 4, however he did acknowledge that he “knows nothing anyhow.” Peyton Reed, the director of Quantumania, added that it “is too early to tell” whether a fourth movie will be made. Rudd and Reed made cryptic remarks regarding Ant-Man 4, but Marvel Studios executive Stephen Broussard provided a positive update, stating that the MCU team is “already thinking about it.” If Ant-Man 4 ever materialises, it’s likely that the film may place more of an emphasis on Cassie’s development into a Young Avenger, thus elevating Ant-mentorship Man’s position.
2. Avengers: Secret Wars
Kang the Conqueror said that one of his Variants “broke time,” resulting in “endless intrusions” in Ant-Man 3. In the world of Marvel Comics, incursions play a crucial role in the Secret Wars. Despite the fact that Kang “killed” after Scott and Hope vanquished him, the MCU threequel promised that “Kang would return.” Kang may make a victorious return in Avengers: Secret Wars as the series’ main antagonist. Others hypothesised that this specific Kang was not actually killed but rather sent into another reality, where he may be waiting for his chance to return while observing the fight in Avengers 5 between the Avengers and the Council of Kangs.
3. Avengers: The Kang Dynasty
Due of Kang’s appearance and Ant-Man 3’s connection to Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. The Council of Kangs, who could potentially turn out to be Earth’s Mightiest Heroes’ antagonists in their upcoming adventure, were already introduced in the movie’s post-credits sequence. The fact that Ant-Man 3 writer Jeff Loveness is also the screenwriter for Avengers 5 was also earlier stressed by Quantumania director Peyton Reed, implying that he may’ve hidden several Easter eggs in the threequel that could pay off in the crossover film. Given that Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang is anticipated to make a comeback in Avengers 5, the size-altering hero may hold the key to informing the Avengers of Earth-616 about Kang, much like Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk did for them in Avengers: Infinity War.
4. Loki Season 2
In one of the post-credits stingers from Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, a horrified Loki and a bewildered Mobius watch the introduction of a Kang Variant from the 1900s named Victor Timely, creating Disney+ history. This scene suggested that Jonathan Majors will play a significant part in Season 2, as the actor played multiple Kang Variants prior to his big-screen confrontation with the Avengers. Loki and Mobius may spend the whole of Season 2 gathering up Kang Variants they come across and maybe questioning them over their knowledge of the likely coming Multiversal War.
5. Deadpool 3
The Multiverse is anticipated to play a large part in Deadpool 3, and Owen Wilson’s Mobius and the Temporal Variance Authority (TVA) are supposedly in line for key roles. Hugh Jackman, who will play Wolverine once more, has previously stated that the threequel will employ Deadpool 2’s time travel mechanism, which will cause the film to shift between many timelines. That being said, it’s probable that along their quest, Deadpool and Wolverine may run across at least one Kang Variant and unintentionally run into the TVA.
6. Fantastic Four
The Pharaoh Rama-Tut, who appears as one of the principal Kang Variants in the post-credits sequence of Ant-Man 3, had a big encounter with the Fantastic Four in Marvel Comics, and the same thing may occur in the MCU. A Kang Variant like Rama-Tut would make sense to establish the dominating influence of the Council of Kangs prior to Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, however the Fantastic Four’s antagonist in the MCU’s reboot film is yet unclear. Similar to Ant-Man, taking on a formidable Kang Variant like Rama-Tut and maybe defeating him would enable the Fantastic Four to alert the Avengers of the Sixteenth Century about the Council of Kangs’ looming threat, giving them a pivotal part in the next crossover film.
7. Young Avengers
When Cassie Lang ultimately donned Stature’s armour in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (although Team Ant-Man didn’t refer to her as her alter ego), the character was thrust into the spotlight. Cassie’s promising future as a member of the Young Avengers of the MCU was hinted to in Ant-Man 3. The Young Avengers’ exact formation date is uncertain, though, as Marvel Studios executive Stephen Broussard recently stated that no such project is presently in development. But, being one of the Young Avengers’ original members, fans can count on Cassie to be prominent whenever they need her.
