Sophia DiMartino, who plays Loki, has talked on the possibility of Sylvie making a comeback in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. At the conclusion of Loki Season 2, Sylvie’s future was left open-ended, hinting at her uncertainty over her next move. Behind the scenes, DiMartino can identify with this sentiment since, like Sylvie, she is unsure of what lies ahead for her. Nevertheless, DiMartino stated in a conversation that she is excited to reprise the part and is content to see Sylvie “do anything” in the MCU. Although DiMartino hints that the character’s comeback would probably take an entirely unexpected route, it is unclear what that may include. “I would love to see Sylvie do anything. I have no doubt that she will strive for what she wants and that she will surprise everyone by accomplishing something unexpected. That’s a character that I really like,” DiMartino remarked. Starring in Loki has been amazing, and it’s great to be a part of a show and series that already has a fan following. I have a tonne of social media followers and have had a lot of positive feedback, but it doesn’t really matter to me either.
DiMartino also mentioned how much she loves the positive reception the series has received from viewers, particularly the compliments she receives for her role. Not only did she give praise to numerous of her co-stars on the Marvel programme, but she also described working on the show with such talent as “like a fever dream.” She said it’s amazing to be working with folks like Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, and Tom Hiddleston. What matters is that people love the show and identify with the character. “What a fantastic opportunity, really. It’s been a lot of fun, even if it still feels like a fever dream.” Though the show’s creative team has hinted at their desire to launch a spinoff centred solely on one of the show’s characters, a third season of Loki is not anticipated. In theory, Sylvie may be included in it. That is a possibility given the favourable reception to Loki, but as of right now, no new season has been officially confirmed.
