In the next Spider-Man 4, more than 20 Marvel heroes are shown in new fan art teaming together to fight a villain that might revolutionize the MCU. Before Phase 6’s Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, a new Spider-Man sequel starring Tom Holland as Peter Parker is anticipated to debut in the MCU. The plot of Spider-Man 4 from the MCU is the subject of much conjecture, and a new Sony Spider-Man Universe film would offer the ideal solution. Knull will make his debut as Eddie Brock and Venom’s main adversary in the next entry in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, Venom: The Last Dance. This would establish Knull as a villain for Spider-Man 4 in the MCU, possibly teasing a 2020 adaptation of Marvel Comics’ well-liked King in Black storyline. Although Spider-Man-centric tales like Spider-Verse and Spider-Geddon, among others, did not explicitly explore the multiverse, Marvel Comics’ King in Black event may easily be modified to fit into the MCU’s Multiverse Saga. In the comics, Knull, the primordial god who created the Symbiotes, uses his Symbiote Dragons to spearhead an invasion of the universe before engaging in a titanic final stand against the majority of Earth’s superheroes. The series would undergo a significant transformation if the King in Black plot were brought to life in the MCU. Given that Knull will make his screen debut in Venom: The Last Dance, which is set in a different reality from the MCU’s Earth-616, it’s plausible that he will fight throughout the multiverse in a King in Black adaptation. Knull may have a lot of power and influence in the Multiverse Saga because it was discovered in 2023 that the King in Black title is intimately related to the multiverse. By delving into this narrative, Spider-Man 4 gives Marvel Studios the chance to present live-action adaptations of several multiversal Spider-People, many of whom were featured in Sony’s animated Spider-Verse films.
