Spider-Man movie with the best suit, according to Andrew Garfield

Andrew Garfield, who plays The Amazing Spider-Man, has chosen his favourite Spider-Suit from the live-action films, and his response isn’t very shocking. Garfield is one of three actors who have portrayed Peter Parker in live-action on the big screen, along with Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland. In 2021, the three Peters came together for the wildly popular crossover movie Spider-Man: No Way Home. Despite the fact that the three of them certainly have a lot in common, their Spider-Suits each have some significant variances. According to Spider-Man News on X, Garfield explains why he thinks his Amazing Spider-Man outfit is the greatest of the three in an excerpt from the upcoming book Spider-Man: No Way Home – Art of the Movie. He calls it the most “practical.” “The eyes of mine are definitely the best,” said Garfield. “The eye shape is simply the friendliest, most approachable, and, I dunno, sweetest. I would also add that, realistically speaking, my suit is the greatest since it has wrist zippers that allow me to remove my hands. There are additional breaks. But none of the outfits are very enjoyable to wear since they are all essentially impossible.

In 2019, Holland already discussed his personal favourite Spider-Suit. He admitted to like the stealth costume from Spider-Man: Far From Home at the time, according to IMDb. “It looks really cool, it’s easier to put on than the other suits, and I could go to the toilet in that suit… [and] the eyes lift up, so I can see in between takes,” the actor said. Tobey Maguire, on the other hand, claimed in a Reddit AMA last year that he still has a red and a black suit that he wears as “pyjamas,” indicating that he considers his old suits from the Sam Raimi trilogy to be rather cosy. Holland seems to be moving in that direction, so it’s unclear if any of these three Spider-Men will don their superhero costumes once again for a new big-screen adventure. A sequel to his portrayal of Peter Parker was supposedly being discussed with Sony, but discussions reportedly ended when the WGA strike started. Garfield is extremely willing to reprise his role as his Spider-Man if given the chance, and there are rumours that Maguire and Raimi would collaborate once again on a Spider-Man 4.
