Marvel Studios’ much anticipated Fantastic Four remake is finally reintroducing the characters to the MCU after years of absence, but with a twist. Prior to their ultimate appearance in the upcoming Avengers films in 2026 and 2027, The Fantastic Four: First Steps will concentrate on the team in an other dimension rather than on Earth-616. New footage from The Fantastic Four: First Steps was shown to the audience during a presentation by Marvel Studios at Disney’s panel at this year’s CinemaCon, which ScreenRant attended. The confirmation of Sue’s pregnancy makes perfect sense, given the actors of The Fantastic Four: First Steps will play a version of Marvel’s First Family that is already established and functioning in their universe. But although the video reveals Sue’s pregnancy in the Phase 6 episode, it also introduces a new, significant individual in the MCU. This character is anticipated to be Franklin Richards, Sue and Reed’s firstborn child in the Marvel universe. The new CinemaCon footage confirms that Silver Surfer will compete with the legendary gang of heroes, even though the character was never shown in the teaser trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Although the majority of fans are familiar with Silver Surfer as Norrin Radd, Julia Garner is portraying Shalla-Bal, who will make her live-action debut in The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
