Actress Clark Backo from Supernatural has joined the Venom 3 cast. According to sources, Clark Backo will appear in Venom 3 with Ted Lasso’s Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor’s character from 12 Years a Slave, both of whom have roles that are still unknown. In the highly anticipated third Venom movie, Tom Hardy will return to the role of journalist Eddie Brock alongside the symbiotic beast Venom.

Kelly Marcel, the director of Venom 3, served as the showrunner, executive producer, and creator of The Changeling. Eddie Brock and Venom, played by Hardy, are making a return to the big screen after making a brief cameo in the credits of Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021. Among Sony’s Spider-Man universe, the Venom franchise is the most highly praised and highest grossing. The shared universe features films like the upcoming Aaron Taylor-Johnson film Kraven the Hunter, as well as films like Madame Web, starring Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney, which made $26.2 million in the US and Canada on a budget of $80 million.
