The expected screen time for Jonathan Majors in Loki season 2

Prior to Loki Season 2’s reappearance on Disney+, the anticipated screen time for Jonathan Majors’ upcoming cameo as various iterations of Kang the Conqueror has been made known. After being detained on domestic violence charges involving his previous non-showbiz partner on March 25, Majors gained media attention. Everyone was shocked by this, especially because the actor was already on the verge of stardom thanks to back-to-back appearances in acclaimed films like Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Creed III. Some Marvel fans are unsure about Majors’ future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe because of the constant controversies surrounding him. They speculate that he may soon be removed because of his character Kang the Conqueror’s crucial function as the primary antagonist of the MCU’s Multiverse Saga. The impending Loki Season 2 is Majors’ lone MCU involvement that is now certain, as he had already finished filming his portions for the Disney+ series before his arrest. Majors will apparently appear in at least half of Loki Season 2, which suggests that his characters will continue to play a significant role in the upcoming episode of the Tom Hiddleston-led series. He is anticipated to perform He Who Remains once more and play fresh iterations of Kang the Conqueror, like Victor Timely.

Eric Martin, the executive producer and chief writer, is the author of Loki. Hiddleston reprises his beloved role as the titular God of the Mischief from the 2011 film Thor in the television series. The Golden Globe winner will make her eighth appearance in an MCU production in Season 2. Returning actors Owen Wilson as Mobius, Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Renslayer, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, and Tara Strong as the voice of Miss Minutes will also appear alongside Hiddleston in the upcoming film. Loki was imprisoned in a another universe where a Kang the Conqueror clone controlled the Time Variance Authority at the end of the first episode. Loki has to cope with the disorganised fallout from Sylvie’s murder of He Who Remains in Season 2. The official summary states that the anti-hero will engage in a conflict over the TVA’s very existence as he makes his way through “an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous Multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes, and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose.” Sylvie’s sudden employment at a fast food restaurant was also hinted to in the most recent Loki Season 2 promos. Executive producer Kevin Wright described how giving Sylvie a job at McDonald’s will reflect her current psychological and emotional state in a prior interview. “The novelty of walking into a 1980s McDonald’s looked appealing when we stayed in the point of view of the character, this woman who had been running through time, a fugitive of time, living in apocalypses, and never being able to relax or slow down.” Wright remarked. You participate in Little League and visit McDonald’s. You visit McDonald’s for a child’s birthday celebration. A someone like Sylvie, who has never experienced it, would be quite moved by it.
