Spider-Man 4, directed by Tom Holland, has been given a noteworthy title. Due to the 2023 Hollywood strikes, there were few or no updates for a long period. A significant change has finally been made to the next Spider-Man film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Star Tom Holland and director Destin Daniel Cretton revealed that the movie is titled after a famous era in Peter Parker’s Marvel Comics history, and it also aligns with the conclusion of Spider-Man: No Way Home, which set up the film’s future.
Sony has announced that Tom Holland’s upcoming Spider-Man film will be titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day at CinemaCon, which ScreenRant is attending.
Holland claims that following the cliffhanger of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the movie will represent a “fresh start” for the franchise. Additionally, Cretton stated that the forthcoming Spider-Man picture is scheduled to begin production in the summer and that the MCU project is “in full prep right now.” Spider-Man: Brand New Day was originally scheduled for release on July 24, 2026, but has now been rescheduled to July 31, 2026.
