The hidden Daredevil Easter Egg of Deadpool and Wolverine is revealed

The recently released film Deadpool & Wolverine features several amusing cameos and allusions to the 20th Century Fox Marvel films. There were so many that viewers may easily miss a few, and now one hidden Daredevil Easter egg has been made public. Actor Curtis Small reportedly portrays a different Bullseye from Daredevil in the movie Deadpool & Wolverine. Given his identical forehead tattoo, Small appears to be portraying a different Bullseye from the one portrayed by Colin Farrell in the 2003 movie. It’s unclear whether Farrell was ever asked to play Bullseye again or whether the original intention was to give the character a more subdued reference through a variation.

Deadpool & Wolverine include Jennifer Garner’s Elektra, therefore Daredevil is often referenced. Nevertheless, the fact that Ben Affleck did not turn up to perform his portrayal of the Marvel superhero may have startled some fans. Kevin Smith, a comic book enthusiast and film director, expressed astonishment that Affleck was not included in the movie, stating he believed the actor would “shoo-in” for a cameo. Similar to Farrell, it’s unknown if Affleck was questioned about a cameo at all. Despite the fact that the film contains a lot of cameos, director Shawn Levy has previously emphasized how each one adds something meaningful to the narrative.

We did not want the movie’s plot to revolve around any of the characters or cameos. However, they are sometimes included. Before the film’s debut, Levy said in an interview, “There are a lot of characters.” Levy went on, “The internet is a delight of rumors about the multitude of character cameos that are in this movie,” referring to how some of the reports about the cameos were true and some weren’t. While some rumors are untrue, others are.” Ryan Reynolds said, “You know, movies like this…there’s so much speculation about so many people that might end up in the film,” in a different interview with Fandango. One person I encountered was adamant that Elvis was in the film. That’s kind of what I love about this universe—anything can happen. The soul of Deadpool lies in surprises.” “We arrive at this film…I came to this film, for sure, as a fan,” Levy continued. “A lover of the Deadpool and X-Men films. Therefore, it is evident that this film was created out of pure fandom.” There was a lot of curiosity in the movie even without the cameos. After Logan in 2017, Hugh Jackman had announced his retirement from the role, but he later had a change of heart after realizing he wanted to work with Reynolds on Deadpool & Wolverine. Considering the recognition and financial gain, it was undoubtedly the correct decision.
