The Marvel Universe needs The Dead X-Men to save it or lose every single version of it

For what may be the final time, Marvel’s Dead X-Men are set to make the ultimate sacrifice. Readers of Dead X-Men are sent to the vanishing White Hot Room, which is the only remaining portion of Atlantic Krakoa. It becomes more obvious to the squad as they debate their options that their only viable alternatives are suicide missions at worst and long shots at best. However, they are all aware that they are running out of time to take any kind of action, and nobody on the team is unwilling to have trust in whatever the outcome turns out to be.

A diverse group of heroes, including Dazzler, Cannonball, Frenzy, Prodigy, and Jubilee, who were all killed in Orchis’ attack on the Hellfire Gala, are featured in Dead X-Men. Since then, their souls have taken up residence within the White Hot Room on Atlantic Krakoa, the sentient chain of islands once known as the Transit, and have been given another chance to overthrow the oppressors of mutantkind. The heroes of Dead X-Men have so far mostly concentrated on investigating several futures in an attempt to find a way to stop their present reality from happening. Finding duplicates of Moira MacTaggert, whose mutant power to reset timelines upon her own death has been at the centre of several significant storylines in recent years, notably Fall of X, has been the focus of all of their efforts. In their hunt for Moira, the Dead X-Men are mainly confined to the afterlife, although other mutant heroes have been acting similarly elsewhere. The main reason for this is that Charles Xavier and his tiny group of remaining mutants have travelled across time and space to avoid the all-powerful eyes of Enigma, the former Nathaniel Essex, the Dominion.
