With plenty of time left until Venom 3 opens in theatres at the end of the year, Sony Pictures has recently released a new logo. Sony Pictures has begun to promote the next picture, which has Tom Hardy reprising his role as anti-hero Eddie Brock/Venom. At the CES 2024, Sony Pictures announced its 2024 lineup, including Madame Web, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Karate Kid revival, and Venom 3, providing fans with their first look at the next Sony superhero movie.
Sony Pictures has now revealed an alternative logo through Collider. When one first saw the original logo, there was a red figure three beneath the title and no subtitle. For the most recent logo that is currently accessible, not much changed, however the number changed at the end. The threequel chooses to position the number as the square root, in contrast to the second movie, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, whose figure matched the typeface and height of the movie’s title. Although Venom 3 currently lacks a subtitle, the figure’s altered positioning allows room for one in a future logo. But according to certain rumours, Venom 3’s subtitle is going to be “Orwell.” The new title makes sense because Venom 3’s cast includes Marvel veteran Chiwetel Ejiofor, who is rumoured to portray Orwell Taylor. Given that the second installment of the trilogy was titled Venom: Let There Be Carnage, it would seem reasonable that the third installment would also have a subtitle. Considering that a trailer for Venom 3 is still a ways off, a subtitle would be the next sensible move now that Sony Pictures appears to be releasing teasers for the future film.
Juno Temple will also appear in Venom 3 in an unidentified capacity. “Fun and interesting,” the actress recently said of her time spent filming the latest installment, adding, “I’m learning lots.” It’s exciting and fascinating because there are a lot of things you shoot that will appear different when the movie is out than they did while we were filming them. I’m also eager to witness the works produced off-camera.” Tom Hardy posted on social media that Venom 3, like many Hollywood movies, was impacted by the SAG-AFTRA strike and that filming on the picture started in late November. The new Madame Web and Kraven the Hunter will be adding to Sony’s Spider-Man Universe this year. The release date of the third film, which stars Tom Hardy’s antihero, was initially scheduled for July 12, 2024, but it was postponed because of the strikes. November 8, 2024, will see the release of Venom 3.
