The Super Bowl 2023 movie trailers from Marvel Studios

Spread MCU News

It has been made clear which movie trailers fans can look forward to seeing at Super Bowl LVII and what Marvel Studios has in store for the evening. Others wait in keen anticipation for the numerous trailers from Marvel, DC, Star Wars, and more to make their premiere as part of the various ad breaks, while many excitedly anticipate the NFL championship each year for the nail-biting drama on the field. The Super Bowl has evolved into the venue for releasing a fresh look at whatever Hollywood studios are working on. Marvel Studios utilised the big event to introduce the Disney+ era of the MCU two years prior. Last year, Marvel fans were given to a fresh look at Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

What Super Bowl plans do Kevin Feige and company have for this year? And might it surpass all previous achievements?

Super Bowl LVII with Marvel Studios

New teaser spots for three forthcoming MCU movies have been included in the complete list of Marvel Studios Super Bowl commercials. MCU has reportedly named Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 as advertisements to broadcast during Super Bowl LVII, according to Deadline. Quantumania may be limited to a Heineken cross-promotion that has been running in the lead-up to the movie, even though the Guardians clip is almost certainly a brand-new teaser. The Marvels, the follow-up to Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel, may “potentially” air during the big game, according to Deadline.

Since Brie Larson’s Spanish dub actress posted about her work on the movie and sparked suspicions of an upcoming sneak peek, fans have been speculating about the release of the first The Marvels trailer/spot. The Little Mermaid, Pixar’s Elemental, and even Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny are further Disney advertisements for the big game. Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series Secret Invasion, which is expected to premiere on the channel in May, is one production that won’t be participating.

Which Super Bowl trailers will be present?

While this story clarifies certain details about what Marvel Studios will and won’t be showcasing at Super Bowl LVII, some details are still up in the air. The Marvels is the most problematic of these issues. The MCU film starring Brie Larson and Iman Vellani seems like a perfect choice for such a celebration, but nothing has been been announced. Does a full-length trailer automatically go online after the game, even if viewers got a first glimpse at the movie then? If not, The Marvels could only receive a 30-second TV commercial with a longer look to follow.

The movie has previously shown a type of trailer during D23 in the fall, so if Marvel Studios wants to release something, they appear to have at least the basic structure of a teaser prepared. This second thorough look at Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is very certainly going to be the final one. A second trailer for this cosmic epic would be appropriate for the Super Bowl given that fans just saw the first one in December and that the movie’s May release date is quickly approaching.

Since Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania releases just five days after the big game, it seems doubtful that another trailer will be unveiled here. Since Paul Rudd’s Marvel superhero with the ability to change size has recently been featured in a lot of Heineken commercials, when Ant-Man does inevitably appear, it will probably include pulling pints rather than pulling any punches. Last but not least, it is actually surprising that Samuel L. Jackson’s Secret Invasion isn’t included on this list. The series is the next MCU Disney+ initiative, and there probably won’t be another chance with this many people watching it before its upcoming launch.

Fans should keep this in mind while they watch the game even if it is unlikely that this is a sign that the programme is being promoted in any way. On Sunday, February 12, at 3:30 pm, Super Bowl LVII between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs is scheduled to begin in Glendale, Arizona.
