The first standalone Don Cheadle Marvel film is now making progress. A feature picture slated for theatrical distribution that was previously teased as a short-lived Disney+ series is about to start pre-production.

‘Armor Wars’ is currently scheduled to start shooting in Atlanta, Georgia, on April 3, 2023, and will take 4 months to complete, ending on August 4, 2023. Agatha: Coven of Chaos is now filming in Atlanta; on January 17, it will continue. Although the release dates for Thunderbolts and Captain America: New World Order have not yet been made public, both films will be filming in Atlanta.

The screenplay for Armor Wars was written by Yassir Lester, however Marvel Studios hasn’t yet made the director’s identity known to the general public. Armor Wars is being directed by Ali Selim? I suppose we shall learn in a few weeks. The movie is being produced by Louis D’Esposito and Kevin Feige.

Don Cheadle is still the only actor whose involvement in the movie has been officially confirmed. Cheadle will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as War Machine, alias Colonel James “Rhodey” Rhodes. His most recent Marvel performance was in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney+, and he will reprise his part in the upcoming Marvel series Secret Invasion, which is scheduled to premiere in the spring of 2023. In order to make a cameo appearance in a flashback, Robert Downey Jr. may potentially play Tony Stark/Iron Man once more.

Tony Stark’s worst nightmare will be realised in the upcoming Marvel Studios film Armor Wars, which will explore what happens when his technology falls into the wrong hands. The criminal known as Force was battled, recruited, and helped by Iron Man. When Tony Stark examined the Forces’ armour, he discovered that a significant portion of the technology was the same as that found in Iron Man’s armour. Later evidence revealed that Justin Hammer had purchased some Iron Man armour secrets from Spymaster and sold them to both villains and heroes. Then, Tony Stark developed “Negator Packs,” which could instantly render his technology useless.
The comic book series Iron Man by David Michelinie and Bob Layton, which ran from 1987 to 1988, will serve as the inspiration for Armor Wars. The movie’s release date has not yet been disclosed. Additionally, it is unknown whether Armor Wars will be part of MCU Phase 5 or Phase 6. The Marvels, Captain America: New World Order, Thunderbolts, Blade, and Deadpool 3 are now on the Phase 5 movie schedule, along with ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA, which debuts on the 17th of next month.
