The most recent teaser for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 swiftly garnered the most views during the Super Bowl, but did viewers see the villain’s brief display of a superpower? For those who don’t already know, Chukwudi Iwuji’s High Evolutionary will be the antagonist in the upcoming MCU film. The actor may be familiar to viewers from director James Gunn’s earlier work on HBO Max’s Peacemaker. This time, Iwuji has switched from the DC Universe to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the exact opposite of James Gunn. As for his new archenemy, The High Evolutionary is a man who is totally enamoured with evolution and genetic experiments. He really used cruel techniques to make Rocket Raccoon himself. It goes without saying that it will be personal for the Guardians.
The Powerset of the High Evolutionary
The most recent Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 teaser received positive reviews from viewers, and anticipation is high for the return of the intergalactic outcasts. The High Evolutionary of Chukwudi Iwuji was given a better appearance in it. With a totally purple outfit and what appears to be a human face draped over his head, he has an intriguing appearance. While that is unsettling, another noteworthy aspect of the teaser was the antagonist’s brief display of one of his many skills, namely self-levitation.
There are many more abilities that Herbert Wyndham possesses than only the ability to float. One crucial aspect of the High Evolutionary in the comics is that he may progress his own development at leisure because to his high-tech outfit; the character genuinely enjoys evolving. His continued growth typically results in superhuman abilities. The outfit that gives him the ability to float casually may be what viewers see in the teaser. In addition to mass manipulation, force fields, concussive force blasts, and conventional super strength are some other famous High Evolutionary abilities in comic books.
Prepare for the Villain of Chukwudi Iwuju
The concept of a suit allowing for partial transformation at command is lofty and highly comic book-like. It won’t be shocking if the future film severely limits Herbert’s abilities. After all, it wouldn’t be all that unexpected to see Gunn depart significantly from the original text in his interpretation. The director is renowned for drastically altering his stories. The High Evolutionary’s graphic style is one important illustration. Nevertheless, it still seems a little strange that Gunn chose purple as opposed to his usual red or burgundy—especially because Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror would be the main attraction. The use of incredibly advanced suits is another resemblance between Kang and the High Evolutionary. Kang, on the other hand, never truly acquires abilities; his technology is simply so cutting-edge that it can be difficult to discern the difference. Hopefully, the opponent in Iwuji’s story has more tricks up his sleeve than self-levitation.
On May 5, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will premiere in cinemas.
