Venom 3 Will Begin Filming Exciting Filming Update: When Will It Release?

Spread MCU News

Sony created the Spider-Man spinoff series Venom, starring Tom Hardy. Venom was first introduced as a result of how much people loved the Spider-Man Universe. The 2018 independent film Venom followed the plot of our hero Eddie Brock’s meeting with symbiotic life forms, which was portrayed by Tom Hardy. The fans were pleased to see an independent film about Venom, which has always been a fan favourite throughout the years, and thought the tale was well-done. According to reports, the Taboo actor will appear in the third and final Venom movie one more time playing Eddie Brock.

The Sony Spider-Man Universe is still growing, as the first threequel to the series may start shooting later this year, per a recent update.

A possible Venom 3 seems inevitable after the success of Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

The movie, which has been hinted to as Tom Hardy’s “final dance,” was given the go-ahead back in April 2022. Aside from the announcement that Kelly Marcel, the writer and producer of the previous two movies, would be taking on directorial responsibilities, the project has stayed pretty quiet since then.

After months of practically no radio activity, supporters of Sony’s symbiote may now finally look forward to anything.

Beginning of production on Venom 3

According to business insider Daniel Richtman, production on Venom 3 will start soon.

The Sony Pictures threequel is scheduled to shoot in England from June to September, according to Richtman’s most recent post on his Patreon page.

Production has thus far begun on the other two Tom Hardy-starring Venom movies around a year before the ultimate (or anticipated) release date.

Late October 2017 saw the start of Venom’s production, and October 5, 2018, saw the release of the film in theatres.

With an initial release date of October 2, 2020, Let There Be Carnage started filming on November 15, 2019. Due to extensive reshoots on the film and the global COVID-19 epidemic, this release would be delayed by a year to October 1, 2021.

Venom 3’s target release date would be October 2024 if the franchise’s tradition of autumn releases is followed. It’s possible that Sony Pictures is planning to release the newest super-powered epic in the summer of 2024 given that development on it began a few months earlier than it did for its predecessors.

When Will Venom 3 Be Released?

Currently, it appears like Venom 3 will be released in theatres around the second half of 2024.

With the Venom franchise and that October release window, Sony Pictures has enjoyed great success, with the two Venom movies grossing over $1.4 billion worldwide.

A move to the summer blockbuster season, however, would be advantageous for the symbiotic threequel. Only four films have been officially confirmed by Sony Pictures for the upcoming year, with three Spider-man-related releases scheduled for the end of March 2024.

Currently, Garfield, which debuts on May 24, is the only other feature on Sony’s 2024 schedule. Therefore, there is plenty of room for the studio to make Venom 3 a summer movie if that is what they desired.

One thing the Sony executives will have to decide is whether the success of the first two Venom movies was due to their Fall release dates or whether the series may become even more of a box office powerhouse during the Summer blockbuster season.

As the Venom actor hinted towards the conclusion of Venom with the third and last movie when he updated fans on the next film and included the sticker for “last dance.” Kelly Marcel will helm Venom 3, which will properly conclude the popular series. According to reports, the movie’s filming will start soon. In 2024, the movie is anticipated to be released. Given that Venom’s most recent two films were both released in October, it is logical to anticipate that the popular series will return during its preferred month.
