Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the highly anticipated sequel to Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse, has received an official PG rating. The rating, announced by Sony Pictures Animation, indicates that the film will contain frenetic sequences of animated action violence, some language, and thematic elements. While the rating is similar to the first movie, with the exception of the language classification, an F-bomb is unlikely to be included in the sequel. The original film had mild instances of cursing, but fans speculate that the character Miguel O’Hara, aka Spider-Man 2099, may use stronger language to highlight his distinct personality. Overall, fans are excited about the upcoming release of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in June.
