If true, this means that the episode in question would recreate the events of the Disney+ series WandaVision, but with musical theatre parodies in place of the show’s tributes to various decades’ comedies.With this, “What If…? Wanda Had Grown Up Watching Musicals Instead of Sitcoms?” would become the first full-length musical episode in the MCU canon, replacing the Rogers: The Musical clip that appeared in Hawkeye in 2021. However, it’s important to note that Marvel Studios has yet to announce that What If…? Season 2 has a musical episode, so for the time being, this rumour should only be seen as pure conjecture.
The rumoured appearance of Strange Supreme, a pivotal figure from Season 1 of What If…?, in Season 2 is equally speculative. It’s unclear how the corrupted Master of the Mystic Arts is intended to fit into the anthology series What If…?, but at least one reliable web source suggests that Stephen Strange’s evil alternate-universe counterpart will return in the second season.
