Yelena Belova’s upcoming solo series, White Widow, is scheduled to premiere in November. Written by Sarah Gailey, who is well-known for her work on Eat the Rich and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and drawn by Alessandro Miracolo, who is well-known for his work on Star Wars: Obi-wan and Star Wars: Yoda, the series was first revealed a few months ago. And according to Marvel, Yelena’s story takes a big turn in White Widow. Yelena emerged as the second Black Widow, appearing after Natasha Romanoff left the Red Room. Yelena becomes the White Widow with Natasha after overcoming her background. Yelena’s rising fame has also been aided by recent appearances in the Black Widow series by Kelly Thompson and Elena Casagrande as well as her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Black Widow.

Yelena will undergo a change and set out on a new adventure as she takes her own route away from her history and out of the Black Widow’s shadow in the next series, which will allow viewers to watch these events. Stanley “Artgerm” Lau created a special cover for The White Widow. The captivating illustrations perfectly portray Yelena’s emancipation and her eagerness for brand-new exciting adventures. The series’ creator, Sarah Gailey, expressed her excitement and said that introducing White Widow into her own comic is long overdue because the exceptional character has always merited her own series. Gailey continued, “Having the opportunity to work with this crew at Marvel is a delight. I am eager for everyone to see what Alessandro and I have planned. One of Marvel’s most mysterious antiheroes, White Widow, has a “groundbreaking new chapter in her life,” according to Marvel. Yelena Belova has held a variety of positions, but being a hero in her own right is a new one for her. Who will she turn into now that she can finally select her own path?
