At this point, we’ve seen quite a few Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania posters, but as part of the freshly established ticket giveaway, Fandango has now unveiled some unique artwork of their own.
One of ten framed versions of the one-sheet will be given away to fans who buy tickets for the Marvel Studios sequel on Fandango between January 16 and February 2, 2023.
Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Kathryn Newton, and Jonathan Majors were also interviewed by Erik Davis to learn more about their characters and their involvement in this first Phase 5 adventure.
Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), two superhero companions, are back to continue their journeys as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together with Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), Hope’s parents Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), and Cassie Lang, Scott’s daughter, the family finds itself exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures, and setting out on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought possible.
The cast of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania includes Jonathan Majors as Kang, David Dastmalchian as Veb, Katy O’Brian as Jentorra, William Jackson Harper as Quaz, and Bill Murray as Lord Krylar. The film is directed by Peyton Reed and produced by Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard.
Prior to the premiere of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Paul Rudd is highlighting the movie’s significant Marvel Cinematic Universe appearances. The Ant-Man franchise’s third film is anticipated to be the biggest one yet. In addition to serving as the MCU’s Phase 5 debut, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania also welcomes back Rudd as Scott Lang, Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne, Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang, and Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors). The Ant-Man 3 video also made it known that Corey Stoll is coming back as MODOK.
In a recent interview with Fandango, Paul Rudd previewed Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’s unexpected MCU cameos from Marvel heroes at the start of Phase 5. As a result, this sizable roster of well-known MCU characters and notable performers looks to represent merely a portion of the film’s cast.
Paul Rudd wasted no time in hyping up some significant additions when the cast was asked to explore the prospect of any thrilling MCU appearances occurring in Ant-Man 3 at the end of the discussion. He rated the Marvel Cinematic Universe appearances in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumia as a 10 out of 10.
“For people that are aware, I think, we have some good ones in there. Some really good ones. I’m obviously not going to tell you what they are, but I think the ones that people find out about or learn about will be a 10.“
The presence of significant MCU cameos in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has long been rumoured. One of the most popular ideas is that the Fantastic Four will make an appearance in the movie. Prior to directing Ant-Man, director Peyton Reed had ambitions to helm a Fantastic Four film, and he came close to doing so. An presence at some time in the first Phase 5 film would be enormous for Marvel’s First Family, who are about to enter the MCU in Phase 6. With less than a month till the premiere of Ant-Man 3, this prospect seems remote, since all sources indicate that Marvel has not yet cast any MCU Fantastic Four members.
The Young Avengers have made appearances in Quantumania’s MCU cameos, which is one of the most likely scenarios for Ant-Man and the Wasp. If the MCU ever pulls the youthful heroes together, Cassie Lang is meant to be a member of the team. Hawkeye made it possible for a Jeremy Renner appearance by strengthening the relationship between Hawkeye and Ant-Man. More significantly, viewers got to witness Cassie and Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) interact on screen. Another Young Avengers surprise that the film could include is the introduction of a younger, braver Kang who goes by the name of Iron Lad.
Kang the Conqueror’s participation may potentially open the door for Loki characters to make an appearance in Ant-Man 3. If Kang is after all related to the Ten Rings, viewers could also be treated to cameos from Shang-Chi and other Avengers. Any MCU appearance that occurs in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania might be a hint from Marvel Studios about that character’s position in the Multiverse Saga as Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars near. This is because Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania marks the start of Phase 5.
