Wolverine & Deadpool’s record-breaking runtime is unveiled

Spread MCU News

It appears that the duration of the upcoming film Deadpool & Wolverine has been leaked months before it opens in theaters. Deadpool & Wolverine, which opens in cinemas on July 26, has a duration of 127 minutes, or two hours and seven minutes. Marvel Studios hasn’t made an official announcement on this runtime, so it could change. On the AMC Theaters website, it is mentioned with more details about the movie. This would establish a new record for the Deadpool franchise by making Deadpool & Wolverine the longest Deadpool film to date. Deadpool 2, the 2018 sequel, is 119 minutes (1 hour, 59 minutes) longer than the 2016 first Deadpool film, which ran for 108 minutes (1 hour, 48 minutes). Deadpool & Wolverine goes over two hours, although it is by no means the longest film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With a duration of three hours and one minute, Avengers: Endgame from 2019 is now the longest film in the MCU. With a duration of two hours and forty-one minutes, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which comes in second, is easily surpassed by this movie. Avengers: Infinity War (2 hours, 29 minutes), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2 hours, 29 minutes), and Eternals (2 hours, 36 minutes) complete the top five.

With the title characters traveling around the cosmos, Deadpool & Wolverine may move really quickly, based on the numerous cameo speculations. In the film, Wade Wilson (played by Ryan Reynolds) and Wolverine (played by Hugh Jackman) are given a task by the Time Variance Authority that will alter the path of the Marvel Cinematic Universe forever. It remains to be seen how it plays out precisely, but fans have been anticipating big cameos for a very long time. One of the most widely circulated rumors is that Taylor Swift will play a part, maybe as Dazzler, an X-Men character. In an interview with SiriusXM’s Jess Cagle Show, Levy stated, “I love the proliferation of casting rumors on the internet, because I never have to say what’s real and what’s fantasy. So I’m just going to go with the very cliche ‘no comment’ on all things casting with Deadpool 3.” We’re lucky on this one, I’ll admit that. Undoubtedly… is this a response? While the majority of online rumors are untrue, some aren’t.”
