Disney’s acquisition of Fox gave them the rights to Deadpool and the upcoming Deadpool 3 movie, which will feature Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. The movie is being written by Zeb Wells and directed by Shawn Levy, with a working title of “Tidal Wave,” which hints at a potential storyline involving Magneto and a catastrophic event. Marvel Studios is known for using working titles and LLCs to keep projects under wraps, and the LLC for Deadpool 3 suggests that at least some filming may take place in the UK. The movie is currently slated for release on November 8, 2024.
